New York City born actor-filmmaker, media tech entrepreneur, Everett Kelsey, founded BLKMKT AI Film Festival in 2024, as a private, underground neo-cinema festival, trailblazing celebration of the future of storytelling, where the power of human creativity and the innovation of artificial intelligence meet to redefine the cinematic experience. Set to be the premier festival at the intersection of AI and film, BLKMKT invites filmmakers and digital artists worldwide to showcase narratives brought vividly to life through the limitless, imaginative possibilities of 100% AI-generated imagery. While all visuals must be crafted through AI, creators retain their human touch in the form of evocative scripts and compelling soundtracks, fostering a true partnership between human artistry and machine creativity.

This year’s festival explores the theme of "Fusion & Intersectionality," focusing on stories that connect across genres, cultures, and creative expressions, reflecting the diversity and complexity of the human experience as interpreted by AI. Each submission must come from the rightful intellectual property holders, ensuring authenticity and respect for creative ownership. The festival’s lineup promises a transformative cinematic journey where audiences can witness the dawn of a new art form, defined by AI-powered visuals paired with powerful human narratives and original soundscapes. RULES & TERMS

By submitting your film to the 2025 BLKMKT AI Film Festival, you agree to abide by the following guidelines:

1. AI-Driven Visuals: All film visuals must be generated using artificial intelligence.

2. Public Exhibition: Submissions may only be exhibited in festivals NOT publicly. 

3. Completion Requirement: Films must be fully completed at the time of submission.

4. Submission Format: Films must be submitted via a private link on Vimeo, FilmFreeway, or downloadable link.

5. Fees: All submission fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No fee waivers are available.

6. Promotional Rights: By submitting, you grant BLKMKT AI FF permission to use portions of your film (trailer, teaser, stills, posters) for promotional purposes.

7. Intellectual Property: You must hold full rights to your film.

8. Event Changes: Festival dates and locations may be adjusted as needed.

9. Liability: You assume responsibility for any copyright claims, trademark disputes, or publicity issues. The festival is not liable for unauthorized use or copyright conflicts.

10. Content Review: BLKMKT AI FF reserves the right to disqualify any film it deems inappropriate. Any inquiries regarding this decision can be directed to the festival.

11. Final Round Requirements: If your film advances, you will be asked to register and accept final terms and rules, though acceptance is optional.

12. Privacy and Communication: By submitting, you consent to our Privacy Policy. Communication regarding your submission status, event details, and relevant promotions may be sent via email or social media. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications but will still receive essential updates via FilmFreeway.
